✔ Promoting a positive self- image by encouraging a high standard of personal hygiene, self-presentation and household cleanliness.

✔ Developing and maintaining their self-esteem, confidence and social skills

✔ Offering advice and support in getting education, employment or training

✔ Assisting Young People to get key information that will help them achieve the end goal of moving to full independence by engaging with services such as Citizens Advice Bureau and Benefits Agencies.

✔ We meet the development needs of each young person through focused, goal orientated key work sessions with experienced staff.

✔ At DBL, we have a team of skilled, caring and competent staff in line with safer recruitment practice who support our residents.

✔ Safeguarding our young people and staff from harm, neglect and improper treatment is central to our provision.

✔ Our staff works closely and communicates regularly with all professionals involved with our young persons.

✔ Our accommodation is Health and Safety (including Covid-19) compliant.

✔ The site consists of a staff office, four bedrooms, shared bathroom, 2 x toiltets, kitchen, generous rear garden and is very accessible to public transport and the local community.
